Gasthof zum Schlern is a family-run 2-star guesthouse with restaurant and pizzeria in St. Konstantin, Voels am Schlern (South Tyrol), at around 1,000 m. 11 rooms (25–35 m², 2–4 persons) with bathroom, TV and free Wi-Fi, own kitchen with South Tyrolean and Italian dishes from our own produce, playground, infrared cabin and car park. The Schlern, Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park and Seiser Alm (3 km, bus in front of the property) are right on the doorstep.

Imagine a splendid place amid varied natural surroundings, where there is no traffic noise, where you may finally take a deep breath, and have time for yourself. The Gasthof zum Schlern is such a place. From the house, which is located in the idyllic village of San Costantino at 1000 m above sea level, you may enjoy the views of the Mount Sciliar, gentle hills and fields, green meadows, and forests. Back to nature in Fiè allo Sciliar

Here with us you will have the opportunity to rest and unwind, and to spend your days in a relaxed rhythm. We are a cross-generational, family-run establishment and welcome guests of all ages. Children will feel just as comfortable as seniors. For our small guests, we have created a beautiful playing paradise with a swing, a slide, and a sandbox next to the well-groomed lawn. Seniors will particularly enjoy the pleasant tranquillity: even with a walker or other walking aids you can move freely on our premises.
Kitchen chef Karl takes care of your personal well-being. In the cosy restaurant, we serve delicious traditional South Tyrolean specialties and Italian dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We use fresh and regional products, mostly from our own production. We invite you to help us with our daily work in the vegetable garden and on the farm. Especially our little guests always have great fun, while they get to know the everyday life on a typical South Tyrolean farm!

In Fiè allo Sciliar you will feel at home

Our guests appreciate our comfortable lounges that the lady of the house – Margot – lovingly decorates with flowers from our garden. 11 rooms with 25 to 35m² can each accommodate two to four persons. Thus, single travellers, couples, families, and friends will find an inviting accommodation where they may rest after their adventurous days in Fiè allo Sciliar.
The rooms are friendly, bright, and clean and have a bathroom with shower and WC, a TV and free Wi-Fi. Fresh bed linen and towels are available, and upon request we provide a cot and a highchair.
A true highlight is our infrared cabin, which you can use to relax after an active day in the fresh air. A storage room and a ski room are available, as well as a parking lot for your vehicle.

Summer and winter in Fiè / South Tyrol

The Gasthof zum Schlern is the ideal starting point for hikes, excursions and other activities in summer and winter. Directly from our house, hiking trails take you to the village centre of San Costantino with its pretty little church, to Mount Sciliar and the Catinaccio, to the Denti di Terra Rossa, Sasso Longo & Sasso Piatto, Monte Cavone and Hammerwand (“Hammer Wall”). On the Alpe di Siusi, many more hiking itineraries await you. You may reach the alpine plateau by bus, which departs directly in front of our house at regular intervals.

Take an alpine hike, ride along a mountain bike trail, choose a climbing path or enjoy paragliding: In Fiè allo Sciliar you may look forward to fantastic weather conditions and fresh mountain air on 300 sunny days a year! In the winter, you may go skiing and snowboarding in the ski area Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi or cheer at the athletes during the Ski World Cup. Enjoy tobogganing right in front of the house and ice skating on the frozen Fiè Lake. Couples may embark on a romantic horse-sled ride through the snowy landscape and enjoy the warming sunshine.
